Privacy, in plain words
Karma has no account and no server of its own: your readings, chats, photos and Moments stay on your phone. This page summarises what leaves the device and why. Last updated 17 October 2026.
In the app
Karma calculates planet positions, birth charts and the love calendar on your phone. To write readings and draw portraits it uses AI services, and only after you agree on the AI data sharing screen. You can withdraw that consent at any time in Settings → Privacy → AI data sharing.
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | Your name, gender, birth details, computed chart, love-quiz answers, people you add, chat messages, chat and palm photos, and voice notes for transcription. | Writing readings, chats and transcriptions. |
| fal.ai | Photos you choose for Moments or Future Baby, and a text description for portraits. | Drawing portraits and Moments. |
| Adapty | Subscription and purchase state, an anonymous profile ID and identifier for vendor (IDFV), IP address. | Running Karma Premium. |
| Mixpanel | Around 30 product events, a random per-install ID, device and OS information, and an approximate location derived from IP. | Understanding how the app is used. |
What Karma doesn't do
- No tracking across other companies' apps and websites, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- No advertising identifier (IDFA), no ad SDKs, no data brokers.
- Your data is never sold or used for ads.
On this website
Our hosting provider processes technical logs (IP address, browser, time of request) to serve the site securely. If you allow it in the cookie banner, a Google tag measures page views and App Store button clicks; if you decline, analytics and advertising storage stay off.
Your choices
- Withdraw AI consent in the app at any time.
- Delete the app to delete everything stored on your phone.
- Email support@kamiapps.com to ask about or remove analytics and subscription records.
